Mount Morris 2 tops Oak Orchard despite Fugate's 279--655 

NOVEMBER 26, 2025 -- The Mount Morris 2 team overcame a big day by Oak Orchard Bowl's Omer Fugate to tighten things up in the Genesee Region Youth Travel League. Latest action took place on Nov. 23 at Rose Garden Bowl in Bergen.

Fugate rolled a 279 game and 655 series for Oak Orchard, which saw its lead cut to nine points as a result of a 26-14 loss to Mount Morris 2. Eliel DeJesus sparked Mount Morris 2 with a 202 game and 473 series.

In other matches:

Mount Morris 1 defeated Rose Garden, 22-18, and now is tied with Mount Morris 2 for second place. Jacob Salamone led Mount Morris 1 with a 565 series while Evan Phillips led Rose Garden with a 461 series.

Mancuso Bowling Center downed Perry Bowling Center 2, 26-14, as Danny Balduf rolled a 208 game and 552 series.  Shyann Covell led Perry 2 with a 234 game and 563 series.

Le Roy Legion Lanes upended Perry 1, 24-16, behind Hudson Klein's 217 game and 559 series. Gavin Slocum finished with a 211 game for a 590 series for Perry 1.

The league bowls again at 1 p.m. on Dec. 14 at Le Roy Legion Lanes. The GRUSBC Youth Doubles Tournament also takes place on that day with squads at 1 p.m. (in conjunction with the travel league) and 3 p.m.
